HEALTH AND SAFETY

We are on a mission and ISO-45001 is the goal. We believe this internationally accredited safety standard to be the absolute GOLD standard of health and safety on construction sites. We have partnered with SMART-COR to achieve this by December 2023.

Awareness 

The first step to safety is spotting problems before they arise. By instilling a culture of awareness and vigilance we can make sure that we are taking care of each other and keeping everyone safe on the job site and healthy when we get home.

Responsibility 

An Internal Responsibility System is the most crucial part of any health and safety system and responsibility is the key. By making sure that any health and safety concerns or events are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly, we can continue to learn and grow as a company.

Education

Everyone has the Right to Know, and at Ares we take this very seriously. We know that the heart of our company is our employees and the information they have is what makes us an amazing company. That is why we support health and safety, and trade skill education for employees both internally and with partner educators.

Support 

Putting all of this together in a cohesive safety system requires experience, planning, and direction. That is why our management is directly involved with all levels of the health and safety program. From investing in PPE of higher standards than ministry requirements, to situational drills and workshops, our supervisors and health and safety management team are pushing the ideas of health and safety from theory to practice
