Services Provided:
5 new domestic and fire main connections into existing City infrastructure
New storm line connection into existing City infrastructure at 9m depth and installation of internal drop structure in existing manhole
2 SANI MHs installed at 9m depth on existing ROW by drilling and 3 new SANI lines connected into existing City Infrastructure
Trenchless repair of existing sanitary lines along Bremner Blvd and Navy Wharf and cutting and capping various services
Challenge and Resolutions:
Completed major service connections and manhole installations in an extremely tight deadline
Analyzed, reviewed, and presented alternatives to the engineering team to complete the necessary works in a more efficient manner. Due to the depths of the work and the tight deadlines, we suggested caisson drilling to expediate the installation of the storm and sanitary sewer manholes.
During construction we encountered deep concrete encased hydro utilities. We creatively used our tools and machines along with our team of skilled operators and were able to break through the area in record time.
